This time of year is tough to continue to look and feel fabulous; it’s cold and dark outside, you have worn out your fall/winter wardrobe, dry skin is reeking havoc on your complexion and if you are like me, maybe carrying a few extra pounds from Christmas. It can be hard to feel great in your clothes but I can tell you this, dressing up a little putting in a little extra effort and trying something pretty will pay off by lifting your spirit! Integrate some colour and pattern into your all black ensemble for some fun.
Give this a try, a little patterned skirt in spring colours with a black blouse and pumps can elevate an otherwise drab outfit up and look fun and cheerful!

The weekend is nearly here! Casual Friday is tomorrow (rejoice) for those of you who work in a corporate setting. It’s your time to break out of the monotonous corporate uniform of black dress pants and button down combo- it’s time to show who you really are! Except you have no idea what to wear….
The term #businesscasual has such a broad interpretation it can cause anxiety and confusion even in the most savy dressed peeps. If your office does not have a specific dress code; you will see the gamut in most offices- men in sweaters, khakis and sport jackets and then the one lady who wears “yoga pants” that have seen better days and a sweatshirt she painted her house in last weekend….so it is understandable why you may be at a loss as to what is acceptable.
In the event you are allowed to wear denim, here’s some inspiration for still looking professional and casually fabulous!

Dressing stylish, cute, and keeping warm is possible! Layers is the key. Pairing a cute faux fur vest with a fall floral longsleeve playsuit and over the knee boots is warm (especially if you pair with tights) and adorbs!!
